Dutch Bike Locks
Dutch bikes: dutch bike locks are built in the lock at the top of the back wheels. We can pick them or make them a new key of you have lost yours. We can also drill it open or cut the lock bars off, but you will not be able to use the lock after.
Chains & Padlocks
Chain locks and padlocks- We can cut through any padlock or chain lock. We can either cut the padlock or one of the chain links. Shipping container padlocks typically take longer time and will cost more to remove/unlock.
Cable Locks
The cable locks are the cheapest option in the market, but they are also very easy to break through by butting the cable off. The lock mechanism itself aswell is cheap and can break or become faulty. We would not recommend using a cable lock for bicycles around London.
D - Locks & U - Locks
The next category is the metal/ steel U-locks, chain locks and D locks. There are a variety of brands that offers U locks and D locks. Abus, Kryptonite, on guard, Oxford, etc. The price range is from £12-£60 and will vary according to brand name and material. U lock security will mostly depend on its size and shackle thickness. The metal thickness is usually 13-18mm. U lock with 13-15mm can be cut with a bolt cutter or twisted tools in the space within the shackle bars. It will be very difficult to cut through 16-18mm U locks. However, when we are called over, we remove bike locks with a power tool no matter how thick the metal is.
